Eight-digit account numbers fail the Bank Wizard modulus check for the following Santander sort code ranges:
For these sort codes, the account numbers given to customers are 9 digit.
The accounts are changed to 8 digit by taking the first digit of the account number and using this as the final digit of the sort code. The modulus rule is then applied to the new sort code and transposed eight-digit account number.
To perform modulus checking, you must get the full nine-digit account number from the customer.
