Data Manager error "Unable to create target file" when updating tables

Cause

This is because:

• either the Database Table Files in the target location are write protected (that is the permissions are set to read-only)
• or you do not have permissions to write to the target location.

Resolution

Check the permissions of the database table files and make sure you have permission to write to the target location.
