Payment Strategies 2008 – The power of choice attracted over 400 delegates from the UK's largest companies to discuss the choices available in light of new industry initiatives such as the SEPA schemes, SWIFT for corporates and UK Faster Payments.
The aim of the event was to provide corporates with information about the key payment decisions faced and how making the right payments choices could help reduce costs, risk and complexity.
The day was a great success and included some very useful and motivational presentations delivered by influential speakers such as Sir Gerry Robinson (Businessman and presenter of the TV series ‘I’ll Show Them Who’s Boss’ and ‘Can Gerry Robinson Fix the NHS?’).
Delegates also took advantage of the opportunity to network with peers and discuss business issues with banks, industry bodies and solution providers in the exhibition breakout area.
Payment Strategies 2008 was followed up by a series of round table breakfast briefings held in both London and Manchester, focusing on specific topics highlighted at the event.
The Payment Strategies 2009 Conference was a smaller event attracting more than 100 delegates to the Magic Circle Headquarters on Stephenson Street in London.
The aim of the event was reveal to corporates the secrets to greater efficiency in their payment processes, to help them reduce their payment costs during the recession.
Again, the day was very successful, with top industry speakers providing relevant information. The conference finished with a buffet lunch and networking and entertainment by the Magic Circle's top magicians and pick pockets! There was also the option to explore the Headquarter's magical memorabilia on display throughout the venue.
Payment Strategies 2009 Conference was followed by a series of breakfast briefings in London and a series of webinars featuring key topics from the conference.
Payment Strategies 2010 is set to be a larger event with up to 200 delegates coming together at 195 Piccadilly, home of the BAFTA's on June 10th. |
